Millions of people in the US will get up to $943 in just 5 days. Of course, you can only do this if you are one of the 7.5 million people in the US who get SSI.
You will not be able to get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) if you have never applied for it and been approved. On top of that, these monthly fees might be lower if you are married and qualify.
All SSI recipients will share the same payment date
Just so you know, there is only one payment date each month for SSI. In other words, you can only get 12 checks or direct payments a year. That means there aren’t any extra checks or prizes.
In fact, the next SSI check will come out on November 1, which is right after Halloween. The problem is that Social Security has planned another payment for November.
That’s why you will get the up to $943 payment for December on November 29. As a result, all SSI recipients who are still qualified will get their check or deposit two days early.
Requirements to receive the SSI payments on November 1 and 29
People who have filed and been approved must now do 4 things. Staying qualified is important to remember because if you get too much money from the Federal government, you will have to pay it back. The recipients must:
- Have filed
- Have a low income
- Have little or no resources
- Meet one of these 3 conditions:
- Be blind
- Have a disability
- Be at least 65 years old
Up until November 29, the most an important person can get is $472. The 2025 COLA raise will be added to all SSI direct deposits and checks on December 31. The most important person will get up to $484 on December 31, 2024.
On November 1 and 29, people will get up to $943. After the 2025 COLA on December 31, 2024, people will get up to $967. Married couples who qualify will get up to $1,415 on November 1 and 29, and up to $1,450 after the COLA increase on December 31, 2024.
