People who get SSI (Supplemental Security Income) may also get SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) payments. When you are tight on cash, getting the money the same day or not can make a big difference.
In fact, people who get SSI will be happy to hear that they will get two checks in November. There is, of course, one for November and one for December, both of which need to be sent before November 29, 2024.
SSI payment and SNAP benefits on November 1
Through the Social Security Administration, the Federal Government has confirmed that the next check for people who get Supplemental Security Income will be sent out on November 1.
The Food and Nutrition Service of the USDA has also announced the list of states that will begin taking Food Stamps on November 1. Some of them will only send SNAP benefits on November 1, so everyone will get the same amount of money.

States sending SNAP from November 1 and SSI on the same payday
For a few days or weeks, some states will send SNAP funds to EBT cards. You can check the USDA website at https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/monthly-issuance-schedule to see if you are eligible for the January Food Stamp payment. Everything for SSI will be sent on November 1 in these states too.
