All SSI and SSDI payouts are set to happen in November by the Social Security Administration. On the other hand, SSI is not just for disabled people; it’s for anyone who has paid enough taxes to SSA and has a condition that meets the requirements.
People over the age of 65 can also get SSI benefits, not just blind or disabled people. There are four Disability Insurance payments in November, but people who are qualified can only get one each month. The SSI payment will only send one cheque a month, but it could be from the month before.
Recipients on both SSDI and SSI
The great thing about these disability payments is that you can get both of them. We can send some SSI payments early, and low-income people can get both disability benefits. That’s why some people will get 3 checks in November. When you should pay next month:
- SSI due on November 1
- for eligible seniors who got approval
- for eligible blind people
- for eligible people with a disability
- SSDI on November 1
- on Disability Insurance benefits before May 1997
- or for those who are receiving SSI benefits at the same time
- SSDI will also be sent on November 13, 20 and 27
- these recipients will only receive one of these checks, not SSI
- SSI due on November 29 (check for December)
SSDI and SSI recipients who will get 3 checks on November
The Social Security Administration’s payment plan shows that there will be two SSI checks in November. That means there are 2 payments. Then, if you also get the SSDI check on November 1, you will get a total of three payments.
If the person is single and gets SSI, they can get up to $943 a month. People who are married and qualify could get up to $1,415. People who get SSDI can get a cheque worth about $1,539.
If you get both SSI and SSDI, your Disability Insurance payment might be less than the normal amount. SNAP funds can help you buy food if you still don’t have enough money.
