The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the next payouts that will be made in Texas and who is eligible for them. Keep in mind that because there are so many SNAP users, not everyone gets their Food Stamps at the same time.
The maximum numbers are the same for everyone who gets SNAP in the 48 states that are next to each other. If you are eight, you can get up to $1,756. A family of four can get up to $975.
SNAP payments left in Texas through October 15
If you got qualified before June 1, 2020, these are your next paychecks. The last two numbers of the eligibility decision group are used by the State of Texas. In other words, your EDG. If it ends in 5, you’ll get your Food Stamps on October 9. On the 11th, people whose EDG ends in 6 will get money.
Your EDG must end in 7 if your SNAP check is on October 12. People in Texas who get food stamps and whose EDG ends in 8 will get money on their EBT cards on October 13.
If you got SNAP before June 1, 2020, your last payment will be on June 15, but your EDG must end in September. Read the list of payments below if you got approved after June 1, 2020.
SNAP payments in Texas through October 28
Watch out because there can be up to 3 different SNAP paydays if you get money on October 27 or 28, so read it through carefully:
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 00-03 = SNAP benefits available on the16th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 04-06 = Food Stamps available on the 17th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 07-10 = Food Stamps available on the 18th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 11-13 = Food Stamps available on the 19th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 14-17 = Food Stamps available on the 20th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 18-20 = Food Stamps available on the 21st of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 21-24 = Food Stamps available on the 22nd of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 25-27 = Food Stamps available on the 23rd of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 28-31 = Food Stamps available on the 24th of October
- Eligibility Determination Number ending in: 32-34 = Food Stamps available on the 25th of October
