The last and third prisoner who got away from the Scotland County Detention Center three weeks ago was caught in Raleigh, according to BJ Knight, the chief deputy for Scotland County.
Knight said police from the Raleigh Police Department, Raleigh SWAT, and the U.S. Marshals Service found Dedrick Williams, who is 33 years old, in a home in the Raleigh area.
He also said that Williams was caught without a problem on Tuesday morning after he left the house.
He was in jail because he was accused of robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony theft, and attack on a woman.
Knight told them that Williams and two other prisoners broke a window and used something that looked like a rope to get out of the building.
The other prisoners were caught pretty quickly and are being charged with fleeing from a state prison.
