People who live in homes that get other benefits, wages, or sources of income may notice that their benefits aren’t as high. In Guam, a single person can get $431, but in the 48 neighboring states and D.C., that amount is only $292. Check to see if you are eligible in Guam; it depends on your SSN:
- Social Security Number ending in 7 = Food Stamp benefits available on the 7th of October
- Social Security Number ending in 8 = Food Stamp benefits available on the 8th of October
- Social Security Number ending in 9 = Food Stamp benefits available on the 9th of October
- Social Security Number ending in 0 = Food Stamp benefits available on the 10th of October
