The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has already planned when SNAP payouts will be made in October. The best thing about them is that they will bring about the 2025 COLA raise.
Many states will keep sending Food Stamps for days or even weeks, but some will just send everyone their money all at once when they get paid. Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, and North Dakota are all like that.
States sending up to $1,756 to SNAP recipients in October
Here is the full list of states that send up to $1,756 in Food Stamp checks. Keep in mind that Alaska and Hawaii are not on the list because their wages are much higher because of higher inflation.

Remember that the amount of Food Stamps you get will depend on how much money you make and how many people live in your home. So, a person who is alone will get less money than a family of four.
The COLA raise from the USDA will be part of all of these payments. The cost of living adjustment is still very small, though, and recipients may not notice a big change after it.
