North Carolina is getting ready for one of the most colourful autumn shows in years now that ‘fake autumn’ is here.
As the weather gets cooler across the state, the mountains, rivers, and Piedmont areas of North Carolina are likely to turn into beautiful displays of orange, red, and yellow colours.
The Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachians, which are famous for their beautiful views, will once again bring in tens of thousands of people eager to enjoy the autumn season.
In North Carolina, the leaves usually start to change colour at the end of September in the higher mountains. The peak season lasts until October.
SmokyMountains.com says that the autumn colours will be at their best in most of the mountains and in Mecklenburg County the week of October 14th. This is about a week earlier than last year’s autumn colours.
