How much money will SNAP recipients get from USDA?
What the family needs and how much money they make will determine the answer. One person can get the biggest gain, which is worth $291. The CBPP says that the average amount is only $202, though.
It can cost up to $973 for a family of four. As a whole, the CBPP said it could be around $713. Check out the picture below to see how much money that is. Both the average and full SNAP payments can be very large.
For a family of eight on SNAP, the most you could get is $1,751, or about $1,196 per month. You could get an extra $219 for each qualified family member, even if you have a bigger family. If the September payouts for Food Stamps in your state are over, you will have to wait until October 2024 to get them again.
