As of now, the USDA has told us when the next SNAP payouts will be made and which states are still sending money to EBT cards. For states like Alaska, Vermont, and Rhode Island, the last Food Stamp payment was sent out on September 1. This means that people will have to wait until October to get another payment.
Remember that each state can handle applications and paychecks with the help of its own SNAP office. The cost-of-living adjustment for 2025 for the 48 contiguous states is not included in these monthly amounts. As of October 1, 2024, the new COLA boost will be in place.

You can now find out if Food Stamps will be sent to your state from September 9 to September 28. The only states that will be paying EBT cards through the 28th are Florida and Texas.

SNAP maximum amounts from September 9-28
This is the last month that people who get SNAP can get up to $291. The new 2025 COLA will raise benefits everywhere except Hawaii, which will mean that Food Stamps will never be the same again.
A single person can get up to $291, and a family or two-person home can get up to $535. You can get up to $766 if you live in a family of three or more. SNAP will give up to $1,751 to 8 people, which is the most.
You can help a friend, neighbor, or family member who is having trouble getting enough food to eat apply for SNAP benefits. A huge number of low-income Americans are losing out on Food Stamps.
