LL Flooring, which used to be called Lumber Liquidators, has said that all of its shops will be closing on September 6. There will be closing sales all week.
The flooring business, which has been selling hardwood, laminate, and tile since 1993, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after months of having trouble making ends meet.
As part of the plan, more than 400 shops in 47 states will likely close in the next 12 weeks. Because LL Flooring couldn’t find a buyer, the company decided to shut down completely.
Along with Big Lots and Red Lobster, these stores are closing. This year, more and more big companies have gone bankrupt or had to close stores.
