The USDA has told New York when the next payments will be made. If you live in this state, you can find out when new money will be added to your SNAP EBT card in September.
People who get SNAP will get money every day from September 4 to September 10. Really, you have to be qualified, and people who haven’t applied and been approved don’t count. People who are eligible should look at their case number and the number that comes after it.

In New York, the most that people can get in Food Stamps is the same as it is in the 48 neighboring states and the District of Columbia. These are the full amounts:

The most you can get from SNAP will stay the same until September 30, 2024. After that, New York and the other states that are next to it will get the 2025 COLA raise.
SNAP eligibility for the payment dates left in September
More than 300 SNAP users still haven’t gotten their money, even though three payments have already been sent.
- If your SNAP case number ends in 4, your benefits will be ready on the 4th of September.
- Should your case number end in 5, benefits will be disbursed on the 5th of the month.
- With a case number ending in 6, expect your SNAP benefits on the 6th of the month.
- A case number ending in 7 means benefits are distributed on the 7th of the month.
- If the last digit of your case number is 8, benefits will be available on the 8th of the month.
- For case numbers ending in 9, benefits are scheduled for the 9th of September.
If you live in New York and know someone who is hungry, you can help them apply for Food Stamps online or at their local office. This gives them money that they can use to buy food at certain grocery shops, farmer’s markets, and stores that sell food.
