Direct deposits worth $695 coming in 10 days for SSI recipients in the USA

SSI, which stands for Supplemental Security Income, is a government program in the US that helps people and families with low incomes. Those who have little to no money and few or no means are the only ones who can apply.

But they must have one more thing that makes them qualified. Keep in mind that SSI benefits are only given to people aged 65 or older, who are blind, or who have a disability.

SSI payment date

A big change has been made to the payment plan for people who get Supplemental Security Income from the Social Security Administration. They got their August payment on August 1, 2024, and they will get their next payment before September.

This is because the pay day can’t be September 1 because it’s a weekend. Just so you know, SSA never pays people on the weekends or during holidays.

That’s why the September SSI direct payment will be sent on August 30, 2024. People who are supposed to get their monthly payment will actually get it two days early.

SSI payment amount for September

People who get Supplemental Security Income will get a payment number that is based on how much money they have and how much money they make. Some recipients don’t work and don’t have any cash on hand, but they may be able to get the $943 largest benefit.

Married couples who qualified may be able to get up to $1,415. Obviously, it’s a lot more money, but since there are two of them, each gets about $707, so it’s less than the most a single person could get.

Most of the time, winners get $695. As of July 2024, that’s how much SSI mostly pays out. This is the new average amount from SSA. It’s less than $699 in June.

  • Average: 695 dollars
  • maximum for an individual $943
  • maximum for eligible married couples: $1,415
  • maximum for essential persons: 472 dollars
  • average for 65+: 574 dollars
  • average for 18-64: 742 dollars
  • average for those under 18: 805 dollars

If you cannot make ends meet, and you meet all the eligibility criteria, apply for the Supplemental Security Income Program in the United States.
