Indeed, TrueCrimeNews says that David Carpenter, 48, shot his father in the face during a strange and surprising fight. In the United States, the fight was over something that most people might not think is important: his stinky feet. The cops were called to a house on Monarch Drive in Burlington, Iowa, because someone had shot someone. A fight was going on between Carpenter and his father when they got there. Carpenter told the cops that he had used a gun to hurt his father in the face.

Father Shot by Son Over Smelly Feet: 48-year-old Arrested for Attempted Murder and Child Endangerment

Carpenter’s father said something about his son’s feet smelling bad, which led to the fight. Carpenter got mad about this and said he would shoot his dad. Then he pulled out his gun and shot him. The cops didn’t believe him when he said he pulled the trigger by accident. Carpenter was then arrested for trying to hurt his father and for putting kids in danger. Three kids younger than 14 lived in the house at the time of the killing.
