We knew nearly all of Missouri would receive heavy rain today, and storms were possible, but few predicted this. There are confirmed reports that a tornado crossed a Missouri highway.
On Saturday afternoon, I saw Dan Robinson of Storm Highway post about a tornado he observed on Missouri’s Highway 7.
He was not the only one who witnessed the Missouri tornado today. I also noticed shares on Instagram. I haven’t seen any reports from the National Weather Service in St. Louis, Missouri, but I would expect to see something within the next day or so because this was clearly a true tornado, albeit a minor one.
Never underestimate Missouri weather’s capabilities, regardless of the month. Tornado in mid-December? Put a checkmark in that box.
