A Montana lady who was reported missing weeks ago was discovered packed into a suitcase inside a skip, and a man has been charged in connection with her death.

According to court documents obtained by local Montana stations KRTV, KPAX, and ABC Fox Montana, 46-year-old Alicia Wood was reported missing on November 30 after not being heard from in several days. Police soon began searching her home in Conrad, Montana, and the surrounding communities.

According to court documents, investigators discovered “various bloodstains described as being blood spatter on the passenger and driver’s sides… including handprints that appeared as if someone had dragged their hand across the car locking mechanism,” along with a bullet casing on the floor.

According to KPAX, authorities began scouring a landfill in the nearby town of High Plains on December 10, and 29-year-old William Glenn Olson was arrested one day later, court documents show.

Olson first met with police on December 2, according to KRTV, although he maintained he last saw the victim on November 10 and had no idea where she was. Police have not revealed the nature of Olson and Wood’s relationship, but court filings indicate that Olson damaged Wood’s automobile while he was driving it before to her death.

After Olson’s initial chat with investigators, authorities discovered he had multiple active arrest warrants, including one for a domestic abuse case, according to reports.

Olson was arrested and charged in connection with Wood’s death on December 11, and he admitted in a second interview with detectives that he and Wood were fighting at her home when he put her in a headlock and killed her, according to court filings, per ABC.

According to court filings, after Wood died, Olson reportedly pulled a bag from her closet and stuffed her inside. According to the documents, he then travelled to the nearby town of Great Falls, where he put the luggage in a skip near an elementary school and discarded Olson’s phone.

According to KPAX, Wood’s body has yet to be recovered as of December 12, and Conrad Police Chief Cory Smith informed ABC that her remains may still be in the dump. He told the site that search personnel are searching the landfill for her body with drones, excavators, and bulldozers.

Olson has been charged with premeditated homicide and tampering with evidence for putting her body in a skip. According to court documents, his bond is set at $1,000,000.

The 29-year-old could face 10 to life in jail for the homicide, as well as 10 years or a $50,000 punishment for evidence tampering.
