Driver in custody following ‘high speed’ crash in Biscoe

After crashing his Ford Ranger on Sunday evening, the driver escaped unharmed but was arrested. Around 7:30 p.m., the collision occurred on Tarry Church Road, near Caldwell Drive, in Biscoe’s outskirts.

According to Sandhills Sentinel, the driver was traveling at high speeds when he collided with a mailbox, overcorrected, and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to turn onto its side.

According to officials, the male driver was unharmed but was arrested for reasons unconnected to the incident.

The Eagle Springs Fire Department, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and the Moore County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the incident.
