The USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) has announced that the SNAP, or previous Food Stamps, payments would end in December. Texas and Florida will provide benefits until December 28, 2024. The 48 contiguous states do not provide the highest benefit amounts under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands have the highest Food Stamp payments throughout December. However, Alaska, Hawaii, and the United States Virgin Islands have already issued all of their payouts. The highest SNAP benefit payment is expected to arrive in Guam in December.
SNAP paydays and eligibility in Guam
Guam offers Food Stamps worth $431 for a single person, whereas the 48 contiguous states provide up to $292 in benefits. A family of four and eight might get up to $1,437 and $2,588 in Guam, respectively.
Guam offers a simple solution for tracking your SNAP payment schedule. Benefits will be awarded based on your Social Security number. For example, if it finishes in 8, your Food Stamps will appear on your EBT card on December 8th.
SNAP beneficiaries in Guam with Social Security numbers ending in 9 will receive their Food Stamps on December 9, 2024. The final paycheck for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program in Guam will be for recipients whose SSN ends in 10, therefore their payment will be due on December 10, 2024.
