Melania Trump recently spoke out about her son Barron Trump’s unique college experience, stating that it is far from normal.
During a Friday, December 6 appearance on Fox and Friends, the incoming first lady revealed that Barron’s time at New York University was vastly different from his peers.
“I don’t think he can be a normal student. “His college experience is unlike any other kid’s,” Melania, 54, said.
She was also pleased with how Barron, 18, is handling the challenges, stating that he is aware of his position. “He’s very strong and he knows that he’s in a different position than other children.”
Barron began his studies at Stern Business School in the autumn after graduating from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach. Given that he is the son of President-Elect Trump, security escorted him on his first day.
Melania also described Barron as a “grown young man,” praising his maturity and understanding, particularly in politics, during the interview. “I’m very proud of him—about his knowledge, and about politics, and giving advice to his father,” she told me.
Barron helped his father’s presidential campaign by reaching out to younger voters. Melania stated that her son’s understanding of his generation—how they think and what they like—enabled him to successfully advise his father on which podcasts to appear on, significantly increasing his visibility with younger audiences.
In June, Donald spoke about his son on Fox & Friends Weekend, lauding his academic prowess and highlighting his acceptance to all the colleges he applied to. “He’s amazing, in a way,” the politician stated. “He’s tall, handsome, and an excellent student.
He applies to colleges and receives acceptance everywhere he goes. He’s very sought after in that regard; he’s a very intelligent man. He’s a really tall guy. And he’s a fantastic kid. “I’ll tell you, he’s pretty cool.”
Barron is Donald’s youngest and only child with Melania. He has four older siblings from his father’s previous marriages: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric from Donald’s first marriage to Ivana Trump, and Tiffany, the daughter of his second wife, Marla Maples.
