Monroe, North Carolina (Queen City News) – Two suspects in a Halloween shooting that left a 29-year-old fighting for his life are in jail, while one more is still wanted, Monroe Police said on Tuesday.
Antoine Leach, 19, of Monroe, and Oquavyon McBride, 22, of Pageland, were detained on Monday night inside the Icemorlee apartment complex, where the October 31st shooting happened. Leach is accused with attempted murder and is being jailed without bond.
McBride is being jailed on a $150,000 bond and faces several accusations, including felony gun possession and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to murder.
Brandon Williams, a 29-year-old Marshville resident, was shot and sent to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. An early inquiry revealed that an argument occurred previous to the shooting.
Tristian Ingram, 24, is still being sought. Anyone with information is advised to call law police at 704-282-4700.
