Florence, South Carolina – A Hickory man reported having his truck, trailer, and race vehicle taken in South Carolina on Saturday.
Allen Huffman, a NASCAR racer, reported that his Chevrolet Silverado, a 28′ Vintage trailer, and a super truck within the trailer, as well as his racing and ministry equipment, were stolen. Huffman also serves as a motivational speaker for NCN Ministries, which is situated in Hickory.
The City of Florence Police Station said that they responded to the Home2Suites on Woody Jones Blvd. after a Chevy truck with a trailer containing a custom race truck was stolen from the facility sometime during the evening.
Police said they’re currently investigating the theft.
Huffman, his brother, and their teammates were staying at the hotel to compete in a race. The hotel is located off of Interstate 95.
Huffman told WBTV Sunday morning that everything his team needed to go racing was on the trailer.
