A suspect in the Biscoe shooting was arrested after a traffic stop in Kannapolis PD

Kannapolis, North Carolina — A gunshot suspect wanted in Biscoe, North Carolina, was captured near Kannapolis on Friday morning, according to law enforcement officials.

Kannapolis police officers pulled over 36-year-old Candor, NC resident Timothy Jones, who was driving a stolen vehicle linked to a recent shooting in Biscoe, NC on November 18th.

Following his arrest, Jones was served with warrants issued by Biscoe PD for felon gun possession, assault, and assault with a deadly weapon.

He is currently being held at the Cabarrus County Jail.

The shooting left no one hurt.
