Scotland County, North Carolina — A man died Sunday morning in a house fire in Scotland County’s Wagram neighborhood, according to deputies.
According to Capt. Randy Dover, the fire broke out shortly after 8 a.m. on Hill Creek Road, and investigators are investigating if a heating source may have sparked it.
The North Carolina State Bureau of investigation is cooperating with the probe.
The name of the deceased individual has not been released.
