The FBI has joined the search for a Wisconsin triple-murder suspect; the 13-year-old victim has been identified.

Federal authorities have joined the manhunt in Wisconsin for 47-year-old Virgil Thew, the primary suspect in the deaths of a lady and two girls in New Lisbon.

Thew has not been seen since his girlfriend, 33-year-old Elizabeth Kolba, his 12-year-old stepdaughter, and the stepdaughter’s 13-year-old cousin were discovered fatally shot in a home in the 300 block of West Bridge Street on December 30.

Thew’s stepdaughter’s identity has not yet been officially disclosed, but her 13-year-old relative has been named as Skyla Sorenson.

Sorenson’s parents spoke with Spectrum News 1 in Wisconsin, with father Jerry saying, “I’d like to know why, but I know I’ll never find out from you. You are a coward. You are my family, and you have taken something from me. “You should never have done that.”

A GoFundMe campaign has been started to help cover the costs of Sorenson’s funeral, which will be conducted on January 18 at the New Lisbon Community Center.

Kolba’s service will be place on Friday, Jan. 10, and her obituary describes her as having “a ready smile for everyone and hugs to those who needed them.”

On Monday, the New Lisbon Police Department stated that the FBI and the United States Marshal Service are cooperating in the search for Thew, who is charged with three deaths.

According to the update, police have located Thew’s vehicle, but the 47-year-old is still at large, with his last recent confirmed location being new Orange Road and McEwan Road in Lisbon Township on New Year’s Day. Investigators are seeking to figure out whether Thew obtained another vehicle.

Thew stands 5’11” tall and weighs 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees Thew should phone 911 immediately and avoid approaching him since he is armed and dangerous. If you have any information or tips about the case, please contact Juneau County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 608-847-5649.
