DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. – Coroner Todd Hardee confirmed to News13 that two young children died in a house fire in Darlington County on Tuesday night.
Hardee provided few details, but said the victims were inside a residence on Cedar Ridge Road in the Dovesville neighborhood.
“Please keep the Darlington County Fire District personnel in your prayers tonight.” “They had a very tough call tonight that hits close to home for many of them and us,” the Cheraw Fire Department wrote on Facebook shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Chief Ricky Flowers could not be reached for comment Tuesday night.
