On Sunday, a New York man was shot at the Biden Welcome Centre on Interstate 95. This is what we know

According to Delaware State Police, a New York man was robbed and shot at the Biden Welcome Centre on Interstate 95 near Newark on Sunday morning.

Troopers were dispatched around 7 a.m. to the welcome centre, located at 530 John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway between I-95’s northbound and southbound lanes, where they discovered the 45-year-old man lying in the parking lot outside the center’s Starbucks.

According to troopers, the man from Goshen, New York, stopped at the service station while travelling and was approached by “an unknown suspect or suspects.” According to police, they robbed him before shooting him.

As of Sunday night, police had no description of the potential shooter or shooters, and detectives were actively investigating.
