A Muscatine woman facing animal abuse charges was arrested Friday after additional animals were discovered in her home.
Kelly Adams, 44, was arrested in July and charged with 67 charges of animal abuse, including the deaths of six animals.
According to court documents, one of Adams’ pretrial release conditions was that she not be in the vicinity of animals.
On Friday, the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Adams’ mobile home.
According to court filings, 23 animals were confiscated from the mobile home, four of which were deceased.
Adams is being held at the Muscatine County Jail on no bond.
