A high-profile store, dining and cinema complex in Mountain View has signed numerous new tenants, including top-tier movie, restaurant, and retail businesses.
The Village at San Antonio Centre, a retail, restaurant, supermarket, movie, hotel, and housing hub in Mountain View, claims it has signed a number of shops for its mixed-use neighbourhood.
The new leases total 90,000 square feet, according to Brookfield Properties, the primary owner of the retail and restaurant complex at 645 San Antonio Road.
Here are the specifics of the most recent rental bargains inside The Village of San Antonio:
– The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has leased 64,500 square feet.
— Hyundai and Genesis of Mountain View, an automotive store that showcases Hyundai and Genesis vehicles from Cardinale Automotive Group, has leased 11,000 square feet.
— The Art of Problem Solving, an education centre that focusses on advanced learning and enrichment activities, has leased 6,000 square feet.
— Shake Shack, a well-known burger, hot dog, and milkshake chain, rented 2,500 square feet.

Sushi Adachi restaurant, Palmetto Superfoods, and Bodyrok Pilates are all advertised as “coming soon” on The Village Center’s website.
“Welcoming this exciting lineup of retailers to The Village at San Antonio Centre underscores our commitment to thoughtfully curating the best in dining, entertainment, and lifestyle for the Mountain View community,” said Brookfield Properties senior vice president David Sternberg.
Separately, Alamo Drafthouse has opted to open a site at the Westfield Valley Fair in San José.
Alamo Drafthouse is taking over two South Bay locations where ShowPlace ICON operated movie theatres for years before abruptly ceasing operations and closing cinemas across the country, including those in Mountain View and San Jose.
The deals, including the rush of leases that The Village at San Antonio Centre got, are a bright spot in the otherwise gloomy commercial real estate market in the Bay Area.
Brookfield Properties was represented in the string of leases in the Mountain View retail, restaurant, and cinema centre by brokers Josh Shumsky, Matt Sweeney, and Megan McArthur of commercial real estate firm The Econic Co.
“With innovative concepts like Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and beloved outposts such as Shake Shack joining us, we’re thrilled to enhance this vibrant destination with new, engaging experiences for our visitors,” Sternberg told the crowd.
