The Chester County Coroner has identified the identify of the guy discovered dead in a burning automobile over the weekend.
Tina Terry of Channel 9 met with neighbours who stated they were horrified by the incident and suspected foul play in his death. Investigators are still determining how he died.
On Wednesday, the victim was named as 44-year-old Israel Bunting V.
“A wonderful guy like that, everyone is wondering. He doesn’t do anything to anyone, so why would this happen?” stated Candy White, a neighbour from Chester. “Everyone says this can’t be true. “A guy like this doesn’t deserve anything; he didn’t bother anyone.”
Bunting was discovered Saturday morning in a burning vehicle on Turnbuckle Road in Chester County. The coroner is currently investigating Bunting’s death and whether it was murder.
“I’m friends with a lot of people and everyone’s heartbroken over everything going on with him passing,” Terry disclosed to Brittany Poag.
Neighbours said they can’t believe no foul play was involved.
“I think somebody had to have done something to him,” Poag said.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating the case, but there have been no fresh developments since Bunting’s death was revealed.
Bunting’s family was too upset by the tragedy to speak on camera.
Neighbours are praying for his family and think that whomever did this should be held accountable.
“I really hope they do find out what happened,” White admitted.
