Blue Ivy Carter sparks controversy by wearing what some call a 'wildly inappropriate' dress

Blue Ivy Carter attended a Disney-related event dressed as a Disney princess, which sparked criticism.

On Monday, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter attended the international premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King” in a strapless gold Christian Siriano ballgown.

Rapper Jay-Z, singer Beyoncé, and daughter Blue Ivy Carter attend Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King” premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on Monday, December 9.
The 12-year-old attended the Los Angeles premiere after portraying the role Kiara in the Disney picture, which opens next week.

However, as soon as images of the event appeared on X, formerly Twitter, some users commented that her clothing was “too mature” for an adolescent. One popular post not only labelled the garment “wildly inappropriate,” but also said it looked “like she’s launching an OnlyFans career” – a reference to a platform known for its sexual content.

Another person claimed that the gown “sexualised” the girl and that her parents were “dressing her like she’s 17-18 years old.”

However, much of this fury was immediately dispelled by other X users who deemed such criticism inappropriate.
