Parents frequently assume their children are exceptional, but when these children began to share strange events, it sent shivers down their parents’ spines. The children claimed to have memories and flashbacks from previous incarnations, which tormented their dreams and caused incomprehensible phobias.
Their stories were featured on LMN’s program The Ghost Inside My Child. Among them was a seven-year-old who claimed he was trapped under wreckage during the 9/11 terror attacks in New York.
Cade was three years old when he began claiming to recall death. His mother, Molly, claimed he would wake up in the middle of the night crying and yelling about working in a tall building with a view of the Statue of Liberty from his office, according to the Daily Star.
She claimed, “He told me he had a dream in which he was falling with the building, just as he had died…I noticed it as an oddity, but I never thought much of it.
I just assumed he had a vivid imagination. However, as Cade grew older, he became “obsessed with planes” and “frantic” around towering buildings. Molly acknowledged that she initially made excuses for her son’s actions, but she eventually “couldn’t deny it anymore.”
She described: “He just flatly stated that he was in a building that was attacked by something, that it burst, and that he had fallen. The jets and huge structures appeared to fit together like puzzle pieces. “This person was in the World Trade Center.”
Cade explained, “The plane hit the World Trade Center and became lodged in the skyscraper. I was still alive as I fell, until all of the rubble hit me. I felt nothing because I died.”
He divulged his old name to his parents, who went on a search, eventually locating a man who worked and died at the Twin Towers whose “life mimics what Cade describes his life and death was.”
“I was completely astonished. Molly admits, “I looked up the obituary and pictures, but I never considered contacting the victim’s family.” There has been no further word on Cade, who would now be 20 years old.
