A Texas man, later named as 29-year-old lrbin, must serve at least three decades in jail before becoming eligible for parole after being sentenced to more than seven decades for shooting his fiancée in an attempt to break up with the then-22-year-old man.

According to prosecutors, Lordes, a 16-year-old girl, committed herself because she wished to sever her relationship with the guy after he had previously held a weapon to her face.

According to court documents, the defendant and the victim had been dating for a year when the considerably younger woman expressed a desire to quit the relationship. Investigators discovered that the victim intended to stop her connection with the defendant after he threatened her with a gun.

Prosecutors also provided correspondence between the victim and the defendant, stating that the lady replied, ‘When you were about to shoot me,’ after he asked her if he ‘believed she was going to be with him.’ The man also messaged her, saying that he had the firearm pointing at her face but let it go because he thought she meant it. The woman then said, “She’s never talking to him again.”

Just moments later, the victim sent her friend a snapshot of the defendant holding a gun to his face. Soon later, the victim went outside to meet someone in a waiting automobile.

As she approached the car, the buddy saw the defendant emerge from the shadows and shoot her in the head. According to police sources, he was quickly arrested. During the trial, prosecutors alleged that “five minutes after the victim told him it was over for good, he killed her.”

Prosecutors characterized the defendant as a predator who targeted a teenage girl throughout their year-long relationship, which she stopped when he threatened her life. Following a five-day trial in November, the defendant was found guilty of murder. On Tuesday, the judge sentenced him to 75 years in prison after he elected to seek retribution.
