Two former Aberdeen Walmart employees are facing felony charges. N’diasia Crosland, 19, of Laurinburg, was arrested and charged with felony theft by an employee, felony possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods.

Fantasia Terry, 19, of Laurinburg, was arrested and charged with felony theft by an employee, felony possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods.

Aberdeen Police Chief Brian Chavis said his officers were summoned to Walmart on Turner Street on Nov. 22 after multiple larcenies had happened.

“Upon arrival, officers were advised that an employee, identified as Crosland, had stolen multiple items at various times, both while on duty and after clocking out of work,” according to a press statement from Chavis. “Officers investigated the allegations by reviewing video surveillance, and obtaining statements.”

Chavis stated that the suspected thefts occurred on September 28, November 2, and November 8.

Officers were called back to Walmart on November 24.

“Upon arrival, officers were advised that an employee, identified as Terry, had stolen multiple items at various times, both while on duty and after clocking out of work,” Chavis recalled. “Officers investigated the allegations by reviewing video surveillance, and obtaining statements.”

The alleged thefts occurred on Nov. 5, 10, 11, and 12.
