CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. (QUEENS CITY NEWS) – A man has been charged after a lady was discovered dead three weeks ago along the Highway 601 bridge over the Rocky River, according to the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office.
Iltride Dade, 33, was discovered dead near the bridge on Monday, November 4, after her family reported her missing on November 2 to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
She was thought to be with her lover, 47-year-old Jacques Hans-Jerome, a long-haul truck driver on his way to Concord, officials said.
The inquiry is ongoing, but Hans-Jerome has been detained on a $1 million secured bond for wrongful concealing of death.
Deputies said he has addresses in Jacksonville and Concord. According to the sheriff’s office, his next court appearance is set for December 12, 2024.
