December SSDI payments are quickly approaching. However, there will be one more payday in late November. However, in order to qualify for this direct deposit, you must not be receiving Supplemental Security Income. If you started receiving Disability Insurance before May 1997, you will not be eligible.
According to Social Security’s payment schedule, the final Disability Insurance payment will be delivered to recipients’ bank accounts on November 27, just six days before SSDI payments begin in December.
What are the key requirements to get SSDI on November 27?
Actually, to receive money in less than two days, you must have been born on a specific date. For example, if you were born between the 1st and the 20th, you will not be eligible.
Only SSDI recipients with birthdays between 21 and 31 will receive their Social Security payments. They cannot:
- be receiving SSI
- be receiving SSDI since before May 1997
- break SSA’s rules
Keep in mind that having a disability is necessary. So, if you overcome your disability, you must notify the Social Security Administration because it will affect your eligibility and prevent overpayments.
Who can receive $421 or $1,542 from SSDI?
Your SSDI payment will be tailored to your specific situation. As a result, each recipient will receive a different amount based on their work, filing age, and earnings history.
On average, SSDI recipients receive $1,542. However, if you worked as a high earner for 35 years and filed as late as the Social Security Administration allows, your Disability Insurance payment could be up to $3,822. Spouses of disabled workers will receive an average check of $421.
