Thomasville, North Carolina — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office arrested a guy who attempted to flee deputies.
On November 20, deputies pulled over a car on Gra Lan Drive near Thomasville. Deputies stopped him and discovered that the driver, Harvey Sanford Boone III, had an outstanding arrest warrant for arrest.
When deputies urged him to exit the vehicle, Boone attempted to flee, resulting in a car chase. Another deputy in the neighborhood used a tire deflation device. Boone’s automobile came to a stop on Finch Farm Road. Deputies claimed he then jumped out and fled away. However, they apprehended and arrested him.
The court found probable cause for felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, misdemeanor reckless driving to endanger, misdemeanor resisting public officer, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to ½ oz., misdemeanor no liability insurance, misdemeanor fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag, unsafe passing oncoming traffic, fail to stop at stop sign/flashing red light, fail to stop steady red light, exce He was also issued with his outstanding notice of arrest for misdemeanor failure to appear.
He has no bond.
