Lumberton, North Carolina. — Officers in North Carolina are seeking for a murder suspect who they believe is armed and dangerous.
In an update, the Lumberton Police Department announced on Tuesday that a search is underway for 25-year-old Tauris Cabbagestalk of Lumberton in connection with a fatal Oct. 26 shooting.
Cabbagestalk has received warrants for first-degree murder and discharging a firearm within city limits.
Cabbagestalk is suspected of pulling the trigger, killing 34-year-old Justin Whitted. Officers discovered Whitted sleeping outside his vehicle near the intersection of NC Highway 211 and Saddletree Road.
