RALEIGH — Cash Pop, a new draw game from the North Carolina Education Lottery, goes live on Sunday. Starting November 17, players can “pop” into a business that sells lottery games to win up to $2,500 five times daily.
Cash Pop is a simple draw game that uses only 15 digits. When a player selects a POP (number) that corresponds to the number drawn, they win. Drawings will be held five times per day.
“What’s fun and unique about Cash Pop is that you only have to match one number in a drawing to win,” said Mark Michalko, CEO of the North Carolina Education Lottery. “We believe lottery players will love how easy this game is to play.”
Players can select more than one POP or all 15 to ensure a win. Prizes are decided at random and appear on each ticket, with a minimum award of 5 times the amount played.
Cash Pop marks the lottery’s first new draw game since 2020. Tickets for the Cash Pop drawings are exclusively available at retail establishments that sell lottery tickets.
The overall odds of winning a reward are one in fifteen. The odds of winning the top prize are one in 15,000.
