Is it possible to get up to $2,588 in SNAP benefits? In Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Food Stamp payouts are higher, but this isn’t possible in the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia.
In fact, Alaska and Hawaii get the biggest SNAP checks, even though Hawaii’s got smaller after the 2025 COLA raise. But these two states have no more money to pay. In fact, Guam will send up to $2,588 in Food Stamps.
Who is eligible for SNAP checks of up to $2,588?
Not all people in Guam who get SNAP can get such a big payment. That’s the most that a family of eight can pay without any discounts. This means that even if you are 8, you won’t get a check for $2,588.
People who live in homes that get other benefits, wages, or sources of income may notice that their benefits aren’t as high. In Guam, a single person can get $431, but in the 48 neighboring states and D.C., that amount is only $292. Check to see if you are eligible in Guam; it depends on your SSN:
