Please keep in mind that on October 9, only one group of people who get SSDI will get money from Social Security. Some people got it back on the third, but others will have to wait longer, maybe even two weeks.

People with disabilities whose birthdays are between October 1 and October 10 will get their money on October 9, 2024. Some people may get their monthly check on October 16 instead of October 15.
There are, however, some people who may be able to get the last Social Security payment in October. On October 23, 2024, the last check or direct payment will be sent.

The most that disabled people will get from SSDI in 2024 is $3,822. That means this is also the most that can be paid in October. Still, a very small number of people who get Social Security Disability Insurance are eligible for such a large amount.
You might get a disability early in life. As a result, it can stop you from working for the minimum number of years needed. This could change the amount of your payment.
By August 2024, the average amount will have been $1,539 if you pay close attention. Disability users get a lot less money than the most they can get from SSDI in 2024.
