Police say they found a guy dead from being shot in Virginia Beach on Monday morning.
The guy was found in the 600 block of Fox Creek Court around 9:40 a.m., according to police. Police say the man died at the scene.
The place where the man was found is not far from Newtown Elementary School. For safety reasons, the school was locked down from the outside, but cops say the incident did not affect them. It is no longer locked down.
