66-67-year-olds will get up to $3,882 payments on these 3 dates in November, check paydays for Social Security

Some retired people can get their November Social Security check as early as November 1. If you filed in 2024, on the other hand, you’ll probably get your money starting November 13.

Not unless you get SSI and Social Security because you don’t make much money and don’t have much saved. In this case, you won’t get $3,822 in payment, but a whole lot less. People who filed and got their money before May 1997 can also get a check on November 1, but they are not 66 or 67 years old.

Social Security on November 13

The first set of Wednesday payouts will be sent out on November 13. People aged 66 to 67 who are eligible must have been born between January 1 and October 10, no matter what month it is.

If workers have any of the following, they can get up to $3,822 on November 13:

  • Filed for Social Security after April 30, 1997
  • Not collected SSI on November 1
  • Worked for 35 years
  • Filed at Full Retirement Age
  • Earned the contribution and benefit base for 35 years
  • Jobs covered by SSA

Social Security for retirees aged 66-67 on November 20 or 27

Keep in mind that these paychecks aren’t just for retirees aged 66 to 67; some seniors may be older or younger and be eligible for different amounts of money.

If you want to get Social Security on November 20, your birthday must be between November 11 and November 20. People born after October 20 will get their up to $3,822 monthly payment on November 27.

Every former worker can get an average of $1,920 a year in retirement payments. As of August 2024, that is the average amount. The SSA has not yet changed the usual amounts. In fact, the average for people aged 66 and 67 might be a little lower.

If you are still working and then turn 70 and apply for retirement benefits, you might get points that are delayed. It might give you about 24% more benefits. Keep in mind that the 2025 COLA is not part of the November payouts.
