GREENVILLE –Trillium Health Resources hired two providers to provide therapy services in schools. Pinnacle Family Services will work with schools in Moore and Randolph counties, and Southeastern Integrated Care, LLC will work with schools in Robeson County.
A Request for Proposal (RFP) method was used to choose the providers. Those who applied had to be able to work closely with the Local Education Agency (LEA), have experience working with Medicaid clients, and have provided professional outpatient mental health services to children and teens.
Regional Vice President Cecelia Peers said, “The schools are our partners in reaching out to families to improve access to mental health care for children.” “Keeping school-based therapy going is one way we can work together to make sure that students get the help they need in a safe and easy-to-reach place.”
Trillium will check in with the chosen providers to make sure they meet their goals, targets, and other measures of progress. To make it easier for kids and teens to get care, Trillium has worked with 21 providers across all 46 counties to help organize therapy programs that happen in schools.
