The Iredell County Fairgrounds' second annual Fall Fun & Food Truck Festival is scheduled on September 28

The community is welcome to attend the 2nd annual Fall Fun & Food Truck Festival at the Iredell County Fairgrounds in Troutman on September 28. The festival is put on by Iredell County Parks & Recreation in collaboration with Children’s Hope Alliance and the CHA Heartstrings Program.

The event is free and open to the public. It will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will have food trucks, bounce houses, outdoor games, and stands for vendors and community groups. In Troutman, at 630 N. Main Street, you can find the fairs.

People who want to relax and enjoy the live music are asked to bring folding chairs and blankets.

ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP

Heartstrings will play live music at the event, which. At 11:50 a.m., a Heartstrings member will sing the National Anthem. At noon, The Cosmic Hillbilly Experience will play. At one o’clock, My Better Half will follow, and at two o’clock, Daniel Cobb will play.

Cosmic Hillbilly Experience

In 2021, Garrett Freeze, Landon Mayberry, Keith Rooks, and Chad Courier got together in Statesville to make the band Cosmic Hillbilly Experience. The band’s music is a mix of country, bluegrass, Southern rock, and jam rock.

Their first album, “Night Sky,” came out in 2021. “Reflections,” their second album, came out in 2022, and “No Chance Of Going Home,” their most recent album, came out in April 2024.

My Better Half

My Better Half is a husband-and-wife team from near Charlotte that has been performing all over the Southeast since 2019. Ellen and Frank Adams make up this skilled duo. Their different vocal styles and musical skills work together to make a sound that is both old and new.

Their music is a great mix of styles from different times and genres, thanks to Ellen’s soulful voice and Frank’s guitar-driven melodies. A fun ride through some of the best music from the last 50 years, from rock and roll and old school R&B and beach music to Motown, country, and boat rock.

Daniel Cobb

Daniel Cobb, who was born in North Carolina, has been interested in music for almost half of his life. He works on improving his voice and learning how to play a lot of different instruments. He has spent a lot of time learning how to write songs and perform them live. For the past few years, he has played at local events, schools, and venues.
