NORTH CAROLINA — A 14-year-old boy in North Carolina loves “tech and mechanical stuff.” He says he is smart and kind, and he hopes to be adopted soon.
Chris said, “I’ve been through a lot of hard times, and they’ve made me a better person.” He also said that because of his past, he is cautious and likes to look out for other people.
When asked what he likes to do for fun, he said, “I like to code and build things, mostly tech and mechanical things.”
Chris is good at taking things apart and putting them back together again. He said that making software, flying, or working on cars are his dream jobs.
“Old cars are really my passion, each car has its own history,” Chris said. An exciting day was planned for him with Audrey Bieskat on sister station WXII’s “A Place to Call Home” because he loves cars.
The two of them met at the Kernersville Auto Museum. Jim Taylor, the president and CEO, gave them a private tour and taught them about all the old cars.
The theme of the museum is “Where memories and history come alive.” Chris felt like he was in the “good old days,” and he even got to drive some old cars.
