A big earthquake was felt near the line between North Carolina and South Carolina, according to the US Geological Survey.
The USGS said the earthquake was 1.7 on the Richter scale and about 7 kilometers deep.
They say the quake happened 3.3 miles west of Jaars, North Carolina, at 10:52 p.m. Also, this was 12.6 miles southeast of Fort Mill, SC.
