On Monday, Cheraw’s team suffered their 20th consecutive defeat as they were unable to overcome their current slump. They lost 3-0 against the Anson Bearcats, which was the exact same score (and outcome) they had the week before, so they might be experiencing déjà vu.
The outcome served as a painful reminder for the Braves of their 3-0 loss in their previous meeting with the team back in September of 2023.
The ultimate score after everything was said and done was 25-6, 25-19, and 25-16.
With nine digs, Hannah Austin was the offensive highlight of the game. When it comes to digs, she is having a lot of fun; in the 10 games since the end of the previous season, she has had four or more.
Following their defeat, Cheraw’s record fell to 0–6. Anson’s record now stands at 7-2 after their triumph.
Cheraw was back on the court quite quickly, having played their next game on the 11th, losing 3-1 to Central. Additionally, Anson has already participated in their upcoming game, defeating Monroe 3-0 on the 10th.
