This weekend was the yearly Super Chevy Show at Rockingham Dragway, where Bad Bowties raced down the quarter-mile track.
The racing got off to a fast start on Saturday with the first jet car battle. The Black Pearl’s rear end caught fire, giving the Quatermaster the first pass.
But the Black Pearl was back in motion for the day’s third and last pass.
Most of the cars and trucks that were racing were made by General Motors, but there were also some Ford Mustangs and dragsters.
