You must have filed for Social Security Disability Insurance at the right age for you to get such a big payment. Besides that, you must have paid enough taxes while you worked.
Lastly, you need to have made the contribution and benefit base, which is also called the taxable maximum, for 35 years. In fact, you must have worked for at least that long. People who work may have to wait longer than 35 years to get the big disability payment in 2024.
