Niche has put out a list of the best towns in North Carolina to buy a home, taking into account home values, property taxes, ownership rates, and real estate trends.

The biggest city on the list is Winston-Salem, which is in Forsyth County and was originally two towns that were one mile apart. The “Twin City” is home to about 251,350 people and is known as the state’s tech and arts city.
